MEN’S ITALIAN AMERICAN CIVIC LEAGUE (Seniors)

DETROIT DIESEL REMANUFACTURING-WEST SKILLED TRADES AWARD (Seniors)

Application: Skilled Trades and STEM Scholarship – Detroit Diesel
Criteria:
-Applicant must be a high school senior attending a private of public high school.
-Applicant must have graduated from high school or its equivalent before July 1st of the year in which the scholarship will be used.
-GPA’s will be considering during planning.
-Applicant must plan to continue their education primarily at Applied Technology Colleges, Community Colleges, and in some cases the university level. Consideration given to students who are studying STEM related skilled trades such as manufacturing, fabrication, tool making, robotics, material composites, equipment operation and highly developed computer technologies.
Award:  $2,000 (1 award specifically for a THS student)

-HOME EDUCATION LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP: Students who have been home-schooled for at least five years.
-NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM OF UTAH YOUTH TEACHING YOUTH: Students who have graduated form the Youth Teaching Youth Program. Applicants referred by the museum program.
-THE LATTER-DAY PIONEER SCHOLARSHIP FUND:  Student who is a first-generation convert to the LDS Church or whose parent joined in the student’s lifetime; must be attending an LDS church affiliated school (BYU, BYU-I, BYU-H, LDSBC, or SVU) or be attending a non-LDS school and be actively engaged in the LDS institute program.
-SCROOGE SCHOLARSHIP: For the parent or legal guardian of a child with a disability
-WILLY THE PLUMBER SCHOLARSHIP: Students with a parent or guardian who is incarcerated.

TOOELE EDUCATION FOUNDATION:  JORDAN M. BYRD SILVER STAR SCHOLARSHIP (Seniors)

Criteria:
-GPA of 3.5 or higher during the graduating year.
-Intend to pursue a career in a medical field.
-Complete application form, including two essays, a certified high school transcript, letter of recommendation, list of medical work-related experience or classes.
-Willing to maintain contact with the Foundation to provide follow-up information and report on the use of the scholarship funds and progress you have made in advancing your education.
Award:  $1500 (possibility of multiple awards)
