U of U: Bioscience Summer Research Program

The Department of Biology at the University of Utah invites your students to apply for the 2015 Bioscience High School Summer Research Program.  The goal of this program is to stimulate interest in science by giving high school student a substantive experience in a basic research setting.  The eight-week program will be held from June 8 through July 30, 2015, and will emphasize research in biology.

BIOSCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER RESEARCH PROGRAM (Juniors and Seniors)
Deadline:  March 4, 2015

Criteria:
-Utah high school student.
-Completion of grade 11 or equivalent by start of program.
-Minimum 3.0 GPA.
-Completion of 3 years of math and 3 science courses (including biology & chemistry).
Award:  $500 stipend, 2-week intensive laboratory techniques training, 6-week individual research experience on campus
