FAFSA Summary: 3 Types of Federal Student Aid

We are almost halfway through FAFSA February…have you completed the FAFSA yet?

FAFSA refers to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  Students must complete this application in order to determine if they are eligible for money from the federal government that will help them pay for their college education.  FAFSA money comes in the form of grants, student loans, and work study programs…some students are eligible for some forms of federal aid, and others are eligible for all forms of student aid.  It is important that you know about each type of aid before you accept it.  You can learn more about the different types of Federal Student Aid here.
