*I’m reposting this because I just got new information today! This scholarship application is due this Friday, November 14 so make sure you get your application complete ASAP! If you bring it to me I will email it to USU and they will set up a time for you to interview for the scholarship at Diversity Day on November 21. I will be taking 7 students to this event, so get your application in soon and reserve your spot in the car with me.
SCHOLARSHIP ALERT!!! EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP AT USU.
USU’s Annual Diversity Day is just around the corner. This on-campus event is targeted to all first generation and multicultural juniors and seniors or anyone interested in learning more about higher education or life as an Aggie. The best part of Diversity Day: Seniors can apply and interview for the Educational Opportunity Scholarship that day…you can have your scholarship in place before the Dec. 1st priority application deadline!
Last year, two students from THS were awarded scholarships at Diversity Days. I’m working to secure transportation to take students to USU that day, but space is limited, so you need to register ASAP. USU is also offering bus transportation that day from both the Maverick Center and the Energy Solutions Arena, but again space is limited. And one more reason to register NOW: Diversity Day is growing tremendously so the event will be capped at 250 students.
