10 Things You Should Know About USU: Fall 2014 Edition

utah stateUtah State University will be visiting THS during lunch on Tuesday, October 7.  Many seniors have expressed an interest in attending USU, so make sure you stop by the USU table and get all of your questions answered!  Meanwhile, here are 10 things to know about USU:

1.  Take a Campus Tour, either virtual or real…real is best.
2.  Check the Admissions Index to see if you qualify for Admissions and/or Scholarships based on your GPA and ACT score.
3.  Diversity Day is a one-day program designed to provide first generation and multicultural high school juniors and seniors with information, exposure, and experiences about college life at Utah State University. Last year six THS students attended Diversity Day, and two students received scholarships that day! If you are interested in attending, make sure you register ASAP as space is limited to 250 students.
4.  If you are taking Concurrent Enrollment classes at USU, you do not need to pay the application fee when you apply to USU for college.
5.  USU offers 199 degree programs…something for almost everyone!
6.  Priority application and scholarship deadlines are December 1, 2014.  Involvement/Need Scholarship deadlines are February 1, 2015.   DO NOT MISS THESE DEADLINES!
7.  Do not miss out on the Ultimate Aggie Experience!

10. Size matters to many students!  USU has 16,000 students, an average undergraduate class size of 24 students, and a student/faculty ration of 23:1.
