“Aspiring” Scholarships

dreamsSCHOLARSHIP ALERT:  the “ASPIRING” SCHOLARSHIPS

As THS seniors get ready to graduate, I know many of you are still trying to decide what you want to “do,” or who you want to “be.”  It is a big, important, and sometimes scary decision.  As you go through this process of making choices, try and think about your  dreams.  What do you dream about “doing” or “becoming” or “having?”

A similar, but more powerful word than dream is aspire.  When you aspire to something, you “long, aim, or seek ambitiously.”  You are “eagerly desirous, especially for something great or of high value.”

Now is the time for you to take those dreams, and turn them into powerful aspirations that will help guide your decision-making.  Don’t be discouraged if it takes some time…not everyone is on the same time table.  Just keep moving in a forward direction, and you will figure it out along the way.
